img_2768_640For the past three years, Aid Sudan Dallas has been involved in coordinating the Angel Tree Project. Each Christmas, organizations around the city come together to provide clothes, socks, books, toys, shoe gift cards, handmade blankets, hats and scarves to needy Sudanese families. This year, partners adopted over 150 Sudanese families who received gifts just in time for the holiday season.

As part of the coordination effort, Dallas Director Nathan Bogue worked with the local Sudanese community to determine the needs, find partners and designate deliveries to participating Sudanese churches that included Peace Lutheran Nuer Church, Forest Meadow Sudanese Church and Ascension Dinka Church. Aid Sudan could not have executed this project and made many children smile without donations from our partners. A big thank you to this year’s Dallas Angels at World Vision, Plano Senior Center Women, Parkway Hills Baptist Women, and the Children's Hunger Fund.
