July 2008 Trip
Aweil, Sudan

Dates: Monday, July 7th – Monday, July 21st

Description: The Aweil area is home to the Dinka tribe, the largest tribe in Sudan. This trip focused on water well repair, pastor training and teacher traning. As with all other trips, all team members ministered through Chronological Bible Storying.

For team members Kimy, Jacky, Mimi, Tom, and Brad, it was a return to a place and a people they first ministered to on an Aid Sudan team in 2005, a place and a people they care deeply about. Seventy pastors were trained, three water wells were repaired, a metric ton of school supplies was delivered, and teachers at a local school received priceless training.
